From mid-November through March, Mizuumi-go service from Aomori to Lake Towada is suspended or drastically reduced. According to the JR Bus Tohoku winter timetable (November 11, 2025 to March 31, 2026), a limited service operates primarily in the reverse direction — from Lake Towada to Aomori — with departures from Yasumiya Rest House at times including 09:29, 10:55, 11:45, 12:20, 13:45, 14:43, 15:05, and 15:50.
