Tube Sledding and Snow Slides

The tube sledding course (チューブそり) is a 200-meter snow chute that you ride down on an inflatable tube. It is the park's most popular activity and suitable for children and adults. Walking Skis and Snowshoeing

Getting There from Sapporo

The route from central Sapporo to Takino Snow World:

1. Subway: Take the Namboku Line from Sapporo Station to Makomanai Station (真駒内駅) — approximately 30 minutes
2. Bus: From Makomanai Station, take the bus to Takino — approximately 30 minutes. Buses run about once per hour.

Total travel time: approximately 1 hour from central Sapporo.

What to Wear and Bring

Hokkaido in winter means temperatures of -5°C to -10°C, with wind chill pushing it lower. Even for a "free" snow park, proper gear is non-negotiable:

• Waterproof jacket and pants: Snow play means contact with snow. Regular clothes will get wet and cold fast.
